DESCRIPTION:Heritage Lecture Series\nOctober 9\, 2025\nPlease join at the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center as we welcome Sharon DeCarlo who will be speaking about Will James\, a famous Nevada Cowboy\, Artist and Author. Mr. James spent time in Saskatchewan and Montana before settling in Nevada\, where he worked as a cowboy and began drawing and writing.  His experiences in Nevada\, including a stint in prison for cattle rustling\, shaped his understanding of the cowboy life and fueled his creative output. \nDoors Open at 6:00 p.m.  Lecture Begins at 6:30 p.m.\n$5.00 at the door. \nFree Admission to Alpine\, Dayton\, Smith Valley\, and DCHS Historical Society members.
