SUMMARY:Ringing of the Bells
DESCRIPTION:Ringing of the Bells\nAt the 11th Hour of the 11th Day of the 11th Month\nThe Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center in Gardnerville\, Nevada\, holds an annual “Ringing of the Bells” ceremony on November 11 at 11:00 a.m. to commemorate Veterans Day. This event honors the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I on November 11\, 1918\, and pays tribute to all veterans who have served in the armed forces. In 2024\, approximately 20 people attended the ceremony\, where U.S. Air Force retiree Sean Vagenas rang the historic bell at the museum. The museum’s bell\, located on the front steps\, serves as a symbolic reminder of the sacrifices made by veterans.
